Software Developer
As our Software Developer, you’ll contribute to the development team and employ your development skills working on the automations that make possible our data-driven pricing solutions for our clients in the attractions (zoos, museums, tours, theme parks) and performing arts (concert venues, theatres, orchestras) business.
What you’ll do (the job):
- Develop new enhancements/features to our software applications
- Identify opportunities to enhance performance, quality and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with other members of your project team as well as client service managers, project managers, and economists
- Collaborate with others to ensure best practices are followed
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality
- Develop web UI using Angular
- Perform unit and integration testing on our application to resolve issues
- Develop stored procedures, views, and queries using SQL
- Develop RESTful APIs meant for internal and external user consumption
- Assimilate high level requirements into discrete units of work
What you’ll need (your skills):
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related software development field
- You have 3+ years of professional experience coding C#, .Net Core or other object-oriented language
- Professional experience with SQL and relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
- Experience with Angular, component libraries and related technologies
- Experience with the Azure hosting platform preferred
- You are collaborative but also capable of working autonomously to define and develop software and data projects
- You are passionate about efficiency and process improvement
- Strong communication skills
Additional Details:
- This is a remote position based in the United States. This position can be a hybrid home/office schedule if based in Indianapolis, IN, Digonex corporate headquarters
- Because so many of us work remotely, we try to get together in person from time to time. You can expect to travel occasionally to team and departmental meetings in Indianapolis. Planned frequency is approximately quarterly.
